Vikki would like to welcome all to The Gate Inn.
The Gate Inn has seen a few changes since we took over the pub a year ago and our aim is to provide a comfortable friendly efficient service to all our customers. We have introduced new beers, food and made a few changes to the décor. We hold regular entertainment, which is something we plan to do more of. Lots of special offers run all the time such as “2 eat for £20” incl wine and every Friday we sell our beers and ciders for £2.20 a pint. Customer Loyalty cards are available for regular diners giving you 10% off our already reasonable prices.
We regularly show Setanta Sports events in both the public bar and Lillies Lounge where you have the comfort of big sofas and a 50inch TV! We also have a Nintendo Wii available for customer use. We positively welcome families and have baby change facilities and a few toys to keep the little ones occupied.
Wednesday nights are traditionally a pool night and the pool table is available free of charge to anyone that fancies a game. We have a pool team and also a darts team that meets on a Monday.
Alternate Saturdays we hold a Karaoke Night which is great fun. Anyone and everyone has a go, no matter what your talent, its all good fun!
Sunday Lunches are served from 12.30. “2 main meals for £10” with desserts available for just £2. These sell out very quickly so booking is advised.
Sunday, this week, sees the start of our new Music Quiz. Compered by Martin, the quiz will be held every Sunday at 8pm. It will cost £1 per person to enter and there will be prizes for the winners
Our service is not just limited to the pub. We have full outside bar facilities and can cater for any occasion at any venue.
